Description: | Lustrous black goethite pseudomorphs after bladed gypsum crystals to 13 mm long on brown limonite gossan. The gypsum crystallized first, then was overgrown by goethite. When the gypsum dissolved it left molds in the goethite with lustrous flat surfaces. Collected ca. 1980 |
