Mineral:Pyromorphite over Quartz
Locality:Sarrowcole Vein, Laverock Hall, Leadhills, South Lanarkshire, Strathclyde, Scotland
Description:Large cluster of yellow-green pyromorphite microcrystals to 0.5 mm overgrown on finger-shaped epimorphs of translucent white quartz crystals to 5 mm. The pyromorphite crystals cover all surfaces front and rear except where the cluster was attached.
