Mineral:Fluorite interpenetrant-twinned crystals with minor Hematite
Locality:Gutterby Pit, Bottom Crosscut, Cleator Moor, Cumbria, England
Description:Lustrous transparent yellow fluorite crystals with remnants of metallic hematite on the bottom where they were attached. The fluorite crystals are interpenetrant-twinned and fluoresce mildly under SW UV illumination. Fluorite is uncommon at this site. Collected by John and Robert Lawson in 2008
