Mineral:Barite over Witherite
Locality:Scaleburn Vein, Nenthead, Alston Moor, Cumbria, England
Description:Thin layer of lustrous white barite crystals to 1 mm on translucent pale-yellow hexagonal witherite crystals to 8 mm. Both the witherite crystals and overlying barite crystals fluoresce under SW UV illumination. Collected by John and Robert Lawson in 1993
