Locality:Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia
Description:Sharp, well defined green malachite pseudomorphs after azurite crystals to 24 mm. The azurite crystallized first, then altered molecule by molecule to malachite, maintaining the original shape of the azurite crystal. Pseudomorph means False Form. Ex. Georg Gebhard (author of Tsumeb I and II)
