Locality:Kambove Mining District, 130 km NW of Lubumbashi, Katanga Copperbelt, Lualaba Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo
Description:Lustrous metallic-looking translucent dark-red octahedral cuprite crystals to 12 mm in a blue chrysocolla-lined cavity with two 7 mm sprays of fibrous green malachite crystals with chatoyant luster. The cuprite crystals show good translucency. Ex. Georg Gebhard (author of Tsumeb I and II)
