Description:Two lustrous dark-red metallic pyrargyrite specimens exhibiting two distinct crystal habits: rhombohedron on the left, and scalenohedron on the right. The rhombohedral pyrargyrite crystals exhibit red translucency in ordinary illumination. Ex. Humboldt University, 1870; ex. Georg Gebhard
