Description:Cubo-octahedral native gold crystals (naturally occurring gold crystals) with no matrix with undated pen-and-ink label from the late 1800s. Gold was first mined at this site during Roman times, though earlier evidence dates to Stone Age excavations. Ex. Georg Gebhard. Weight 0.404 grams
