Locality:Mashamba West Mine, 13 km west of Kolwezi, Katanga Copperbelt, Lualaba Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo
Description:Three parallel transparent-to-translucent dark-red octahedral cuprite crystals on light-green chrysocolla-coated matrix. The cuprite crystals have a metallic luster, but the crystals show excellent red transparency when illuminated from rear.
