Description:Transparent-to-translucent brown scalenohedral calcite crystals lining the inside cavity in a purple amethyst quartz geode with a small group of lustrous purple amethyst crystals that are not covered by the calcite crystals. Ex. Roy A. Smith (1935-2014) collection #M936; acquired in 1993 from Arthur Dowell; ex. Cranbrook Institute
