Description: | Translucent colorless rhombic calcite crystals to 2 mm in complex rosette-shaped aggregates to 4 mm over bladed translucent brown stilbite crystals to 5 mm and a 1 mm group of yellow-metallic pyrite crystals on fine-grained garnetiferous gneiss. One of forty specimens recovered by Charles Merguerian from the new water tunnel under New York City in 1999 |
