Locality:St. Andreasberg District, 25 km SE of Clausthal-Zellerfeld, Harz Mountains, Lower Saxony, Germany
Description:Lustrous translucent colorless calcite crystal on a compact mass of crystallized white barite. The calcite crystals are hexagonal form, resembling stacked platy crystals, and have unusual terminations composed of many small parallel rhombohedral faces. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection, originally acquired from A. Guest
