Mineral:Prehnite pseudomorphs after Anhydrite with Laumontite
Locality:Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Lustrous translucent green epimorph after bladed anhydrite crystals to 45 mm with white laumontite on the surfaces. The anhydrite crystals formed first and were overgrown with green prehnite crystals, then the anhydrite dissolved leaving hollow molds.
