Description: | Fan-shaped formation of sparkling white epimorphs after prismatic anhydrite crystals to 60 mm mounted to an acrylic base to stand upright. The anhydrite formed first, was overgrown by quartz, then the anhydrite dissolved leaving hollow molds. Ex. John Geiges collection #425, acquired in 1996; ex. T. L. Baskin (1915-1987) |
