Locality:Hurricane Mountain, east of Intervale, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Lustrous black arfvedsonite crystals to 25 mm with limonite-stained quartz crystals to 12 mm. Terminated arfvedsonite crystals are rare from Hurricane Mountain where they are commonly embedded in solid microcline. Note the bent shape. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s-70s
