Mineral:Natrolite on Phonolite
Locality:Hammerunterwiesenthal, Erzgebirge, Sachsen, Germany
Description:Thick layer of acicular white natrolite crystals covering two faces of gray phonolite. The largest natrolite crystals have glassy prismatic faces and two-faced terminations. One area fluoresces orange under SW UV illumination. Ex. W. Keller #9393, acquired in 1993; ex. Curt G. Segeler (1901-1989)
