Mineral:Almandine Garnet on Albite
Locality:Hedgehog Hill, Peru, Oxford County, Maine
Description:Well-exposed distinct brown almandine garnet crystal in contrasting white albite feldspar. The almandine crystal is trapezohedral form and were carefully exposed by chipping away the surrounding matrix. The rear faces contacted another garnet.
