Locality:Mina San José, 10 km south of Real de Catorce, San Luis Potosí, Mexico
Description:Earthy gray-brown stibiconite pseudomorphs after elongated stibnite crystals to 22 mm long. The stibnite crystallized first, then altered atom-by-atom into stibiconite, maintaining the original form of the stibnite. Collected ca. 1975-6.
