Locality:Hurricane Mountain, east of Intervale, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Lustrous black 11 mm prismatic arfvedsonite crystal with a brown 3 mm zircon crystal on the termination. Terminated arfvedsonite crystals are rare from Hurricane Mountain where they are commonly embedded in solid microcline. Ex. J. Bussman; ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection #68, collected in the 1960s-70s; ex. Betts #61725
