Locality: | Tourmaline Prospect 100 m. west of Biermann Quarry, Bethel, Fairfield County, Connecticut |
Description: | Two interconnected doubly terminated black tourmaline crystals with remnants of gray mica included in the surfaces. The tourmaline crystals were collected from a rotted pegmatite that dissolved everything into a granular mass except the tourmaline. From my personal collection; collected in 1993 |
