Locality:Hedgehog Hill, Peru, Oxford County, Maine
Description:Lustrous translucent red-brown almandine garnet crystals perched on the top edge of contrasting white albite-quartz-muscovite matrix. The almandine garnet crystals are trapezohedral form with good red translucency, though incomplete in areas.
