Locality:Hedgehog Hill, Peru, Oxford County, Maine
Description:Trapezohedral brown-black almandine garnet crystal with remnants of muscovite and albite on the surfaces. The almandine garnet was extracted from solid pegmatite matrix, not found in a cavity. The rear has a crystallized impression of another crystal.
