Locality:Hedgehog Hill, Peru, Oxford County, Maine
Description:Trapezohedral translucent brown-black almandine garnet crystal exposed on the face of a crystallized mass of muscovite mica. The almandine garnet was extracted from solid pegmatite matrix, and has complex crystallization patterns on the faces.
