Mineral:Arfvedsonite (rare twinned terminated Arfvedsonite crystal) with Microcline and Zircon
Locality:Hurricane Mountain, east of Intervale, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Lustrous prismatic black terminated (rare for the locality) arfvedsonite crystals to 22 mm with white microcline crystals to 5 mm and brown octahedral zircon microcrystals on the sides. The arfvedsonite crystals are twinned with offset terminations. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s-70s
