Locality:Hurricane Mountain, east of Intervale, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Large (for this locality) lustrous black arfvedsonite crystal with remnants of white matrix. The arfvedsonite crystal is partially etched on sides but the complex termination has lustrous faces. Terminated arfvedsonite from Hurricane Mountain is rare. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s-70s
