Locality:Pipeline excavation east side of Strickland Hill, Portland, Middlesex County, Connecticut
Description:Tapered translucent green beryl crystal embedded in quartz-albite matrix. From a one-time find during pipeline construction on the hill adjacent to Collins Hill, where the famous Strickland Quarry is located. Collected June 1997 during pipeline excavation
