Locality:Strickland Quarry, Collins Hill, Portland, Middlesex County, Connecticut
Description:Lustrous translucent green elbaite tourmaline crystals in muscovite-quartz-albite matrix. The exposed ends of the elbaite tourmaline crystals reveals black core zones. From my personal collection; collected on the Boston Mineral Club field trip when the dumps were being graded during golf course construction ca. 1994
