Locality:Moat Mountain, west of North Conway, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Lustrous transparent smoky quartz crystal on white microcline included in the rear faces. The smoky quartz has complex suture patterns on the prism faces indicating it is twinned following the Dauphiné Law of quartz twinning. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s-70s
