Locality:Moat Mountain, west of North Conway, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Lustrous parallel transparent smoky quartz crystals with bladed muscovite mica crystals on the rear and upper edge. The smoky quartz has complex suture patterns on the prism faces indicating twinning following the Dauphiné Law of quartz twinning. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s-70s
