Locality:Walworth Quarry, Wayne County, New York
Description:Large crystal of selenite, the transparent colorless variety of the mineral species gypsum, with a cleavage face on one edge revealing the flawless interior of the crystal. The outer surfaces of the selenite contacted the cavity walls. From my private collection; collected ca. 2000
