Locality:Chester Talc Mining District, Windsor County, Vermont
Description:Lustrous black-metallic magnetite crystals embedded in foliated talc. The magnetite crystals are octahedral form and are magnetic. Many of the magnetite crystals are incomplete because they fractured when the surrounding rock was split open. Collected ca. 1960
