Description: | Double-sided plate of lustrous black marmatite crystals, the iron-rich variety of the mineral species sphalerite, to 5 mm with translucent gray-brown flattened rhombohedral (disc-shaped) siderite crystals to 7 mm on one side. Ex. Lucile Squier (1905-2007) collection, collected ca. 1970 |
