Mineral:Dioptase with scepter-shaped Calcite
Locality:Christmas Mine, Banner District, Gila County, Arizona
Description:Rich specimen of lustrous transparent green dioptase crystals to 0.4 mm with mushroom-shaped (or scepter-shaped) transparent colorless calcite crystals of flat circular calcite cap crystals to 8 mm over smaller stem calcite crystals. Collected by John Mediz ca. 1985
