Locality:Cavnic Mine (Kapnikbanya), Maramures, Romania
Description:Sparkling cluster of lustrous transparent colorless quartz crystals to 20 mm over pink rhodochrosite with translucent pale-yellow calcite. The quartz crystals are so transparent that the pink color of the underlying rhodochrosite is very apparent. Collected ca. 1980
