Locality:Montreal Mine, Gogebic Iron Range, Iron County, Wisconsin
Description:Translucent white Mn-rich calcite crystals in spherical aggregates to 6 mm diameter on brown matrix coated with lustrous transparent colorless quartz microcrystals. The outer surfaces of the calcite spheres have a white second generation of calcite. Collected ca. 1950
