Description:Lustrous transparent red rhodochrosite crystals on black manganese-oxide coated matrix. The rhodochrosite crystals are hexagonal-scalenohedral form. One rhodochrosite crystal has a face composed of smaller parallel faces. With custom-fit acrylic base. Ex. G. McLoughlin collection; ex. Wally Mann collection
