Locality:Kalah, Kunar Province, Afghanistan
Description:Lustrous transparent blue aquamarine crystal, the blue-green gem variety of the mineral species beryl, on contrasting white albite with silvery muscovite mica. The aquamarine crystal is tabular hexagonal form with secondary corner faces. Ex. G. McLoughlin collection; acquired in 2002 from K. Ward
