Mineral:Beryl var. Aquamarine with Fluorapatite and Goethite inclusions
Locality:Skardu District, Baltistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan
Description:Three parallel intergrown aquamarine crystals, the blue-green gem variety of beryl, to 55 mm with translucent brown fluorapatite crystals to 3 mm on the prism faces and translucent brown-black goethite crystal inclusions to 2 mm. Ex. G. McLoughlin collection, acquired for $300 from Joe Dorris (star of Prospectors television show) in 1996.
