Locality:Lavra Navegadora, Penha do Norte, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Description:Lustrous naturally etched transparent wine-red spessartine garnet crystal with irregular crystal form and surfaces composed of many parallel, stepped faces. The spessartine garnet is fully crystallized on all faces with an area of green hyalite opal. Collected in early 2003. Weight: 14.7 grams
