Locality:Cook Road locality, Windham, Cumberland County, Maine
Description:Large double-sided plate of elongated staurolite crystals to 22 mm with a few dodecahedral dark-red almandine garnet crystals to 11 mm in brown schist. The staurolite and almandine crystals are harder than the schist and are proud of the surface. From my personal collection. Collected in 1989
