Locality:Strickland Quarry, Collins Hill, Portland, Middlesex County, Connecticut
Description:Large transparent brown muscovite mica crystal protruding from gray quartz base. The muscovite mica crystal has interesting crystallization patterns on the front face. The rear face is a flat cleavage face. From my personal collection; collected on the Boston Mineral Club field trip when the dumps were being graded during golf course construction ca. 1994
