Locality:LaFarge Quarry, Ravena, Albany County, New York
Description:Large plate of lustrous transparent colorless calcite crystals to 16 mm with lustrous transparent gray quartz crystals to 12 mm on gray matrix. The calcite crystals are rhombohedral form with parallel linear patterns on the faces due to etching. From my personal collection; collected on the Albany Mineral Club field trip in April 2008
