Mineral:Datolite with Calcite and Pyrite
Locality:Millington Quarry, Bernards Township, Somerset County, New Jersey
Description:Lustrous translucent pale-green datolite crystals to 4 mm with lustrous transparent twinned rhombohedral calcite crystals to 3 mm. Under magnification yellow-metallic pyrite microcrystals are visible. From my personal collection; collected in 2004.
