Description:Brown staurolite crystals to 19 mm embedded in fine-grained gray schist with dodecahedral dark-red almandine garnet crystals to 4 mm. The staurolite and almandine crystals are harder than the schist and are proud of the surface. From my personal collection. Collected ca. 1993
