Locality:Pond Hill, near Pearl Lake, Lisbon, Grafton County, New Hampshire
Description:Brown 24 mm staurolite crystal embedded in fine-grained gray schist with a 4 mm dodecahedral dark-red almandine garnet crystal. The staurolite and almandine crystals are harder than the schist and are proud of the surface. From my personal collection. Collected ca. 1993
