Description: | Lustrous translucent dark-red proustite crystals to 7 mm in a small recess between lustrous transparent pale-yellow calcite crystals to 5 mm on gray-metallic galena. The proustite crystals have sub-metallic luster and show areas of red translucency. Ex. Joe Cilen (1916-1997) #10085b; ex. R. Hauck in 1981 |
