Description: | Unusually large cluster of lustrous quartz crystal pseudomorphs after elongated anhydrite crystals to 30 mm. The anhydrite crystallized first, was overgrown with quartz crystals, then the anhydrite dissolved. The largest specimen from a one-time find. From my personal collection; collected by William (Bill) Barrett (1924-2018) ca. 1994 |
