Description: | Very large lustrous translucent gray scalenohedral calcite crystals on dark basalt with smaller rhombohedral calcite crystals to 8 mm. The calcite crystals are internally zoned with spotty dark inclusions (chamosite?) and twinned in the C-axis {00*1}. From my personal collection; ex. Joe Cilen (1916-1997) #3725 |
