| Description: | Double-sided formation of translucent green prehnite crystals in hemispherical aggregates that formed in a gas cavity in basalt. The outer layers are translucent green and the inner cores are milky white, giving the prehnite a pearl-like luster. My best. From my personal collection; collected by William (Bill) Barrett (1924-2018) ca. 1994 |
