Mineral:Tetrahedrite with Sphalerite and Pyrite
Locality:Cavnic Mine (Kapnikbanya), Maramures, Romania
Description:Tetrahedral lustrous silver-metallic tetrahedrite crystals to 6 mm intermixed with transparent dark-brown sphalerite crystals to 3 mm and yellow-metallic cubic pyrite crystals to 1.2 mm. The tetrahedrite crystals have complex patterns on the surfaces. Ex. Mort Metersky collection
